WikiWiki Worm Ranch owner Ned Selfe has turned his enthusiasm for vermiculture into a resource for the island of Kauai. Since getting a small initial stock of composting worms several years ago, Ned has nurtured that brood into a vast, sprawling herd of foraging fertilizer machines that roam the south shores with impunity.....sort of.
